Knoles Electric, Cameron, came in and rewired our entire house. He had to climb in the attic as well as crawl under our house to get the job done. Since our recent renovation was over 35years ago, he suggested updating our lighting. He installed a bunch of Halo 4” canless LED recessed lights in our living room, kitchen and bathroom. These lights provide great lighting while remaining almost hidden. We got rid of our ceiling fans and had him install simple 15” lights.
Overall…Cameron did a great job. I would definitely recommend him.

1. What is considered an electrical emergency?
An emergency is anything that poses an immediate threat to life, property, or habitability. This includes smoking outlets, buzzing breaker panels, sparking wires, complete power loss (not caused by the utility company), or electric shocks when touching appliances.
2. Do you really come out at 2 AM?
Yes. We have a team on rotation to ensure coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays and weekends.
3. My power is out. Should I call you or HECO (Hawaiian Electric)?
First, look at your neighbors’ houses. If their lights are out too, it is likely a neighborhood grid issue—call HECO. If your neighbors have power but you don’t, the issue is likely in your main breaker or panel—call us.
4. Do you charge extra for after-hours service?
Like most trade professionals, we have an emergency dispatch fee for calls outside of standard business hours. However, we are transparent about this cost upfront before we deploy, so there are no surprises.
5. Can you fix storm damage to my electrical mast?
Yes. If a tree branch or wind has damaged the pipe (mast) bringing power into your home, HECO will often refuse to reconnect power until an electrician fixes it. We can perform this repair quickly to get your power back on.
6. What if you can't fix it immediately?
Our trucks are stocked with common parts. However, if a major component is needed that is not available at night, we will perform a “temporary make-safe” repair to ensure your home is safe and you have partial power, then return first thing in the morning with the part.
7. I smell burning fish. What is that?
That is a classic sign of overheating electrical components (wire insulation or plastic breakers). It is a chemical reaction to heat. Call us immediately—this is a fire precursor.
8. Do you service commercial buildings?

9. Can I just pour water on a smoking outlet?
