We had a great experience with this electrician. It has been difficult getting electricians to come out - several have given quotes and then never showed up, but this company was different. He responded promptly, showed up when expected, listened to what we needed done, and completed the job as requested. Reliable, professional, and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.

Knoles Electric did a great job installing six exterior light fixtures at our apartment building. During the project, we ran into some challenges removing the old rusted fixtures, but Cam helped us find the best and most affordable solution — it truly felt like they had our best interest in mind.
Elijah completed the installation with great care and quality. He also maintained clear communication throughout the two day project.

Found Knoles electric on Yelp, scheduled them to change 6 of my dated outlets & covers along with one light switch. We initially booked the job for a Saturday morning and had an unfortunate hiccup with keys which was my fault; my renovation contractors had the only set with all required keys and they had to reschedule me last minute, but they were incredibly understanding and kind given the situation!
Elijah was the electrician who came out for the rescheduled appointment and he was truly amazing! Arrived exactly on time & was prepared with all of the necessary tools & parts! He was thorough, efficient and fun to chat with throughout the job! He also made sure to vacuum up afterwards despite renovation mess, but this just proves the attention to detail he provided! Can't recommend him, or this company enough!! Mahalo, Elijah!!

Elijah got us hooked up with the hwn electric and we have electric again after two days without power. We have Sunrun for solar, and they provided no help. I’m going to see how the bill is with echo, and then figure out what to do with solar. Neither Hawaiian electric nor Sunrun were any help. Eliza was wonderful.

Elijah replaced our entire circuit breaker box and potentially saved an electrical fire in our home. Things were bad, and I am so thankful he was skilled and knowledgeable. Elijah was fantastic and a true professional! We just purchased a condo for my mom and needed the electric box updated and a 240V outlet added to power her new AC. Elijah went over all the different options for running the AC’s power line and did a fantastic job navigating quite a bit of distance between the AC and the electric box. We are so grateful for his attention to detail and the care and consideration he took in doing this important work to make sure the electric box is safe for my mom’s new home. Thank you Elijah!

Tonight, on New Year’s Eve, our power went out while cooking a special dinner for our families. Called Hawaiian Electric to report the outage and their recoding said power outages in Kailua and we live in Kailua. The funny thing is that all our neighbors had their power on. We thought that we would be without power until Friday morning (Hawaiian Electric Business hours). I frantically started looking on Yelp to see if, by chance, I could find an Electrician/Company who would be able to do an emergency call. After calling numerous numbers and only getting voicemails I was ready to give up and tried one last number. To my surprise, Cameron personally answered my call and said his crew wouldn’t be able to respond this evening because they were all at New Year’s
Parties. Cameron was very concerned for me and my family and our situation. He asked me to explain what happened. He told me not to panic and thought that he knew the problem and that he might be able to help me over the phone. He told me what to do step by step while he stood by on the phone. Miraculously I was able to get the power back on and complete our New Year’s family dinner. We owe a ton of gratitude to Cameron for being there for us in a time of crisis… a “God Send”! He definitely deserves more than Five Stars! Will recommend Cameron and Knowles Electric.

I recently had some solar panels removed to fix the roof by Knoles Electric, the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. Elijah did an excellent job on removing the panels and resealed the holding foot brackets. He came on time with courteous and provided professional service. Living in an old house. We didn’t realize how bad our electrical system was. We had melted wiring, rats that ate through a lot of the junction boxes and protective coverings... we’re thankful that our house didn’t burn down.
Knoles Electric, Cameron, came in and rewired our entire house. He had to climb in the attic as well as crawl under our house to get the job done. Since our recent renovation was over 35years ago, he suggested updating our lighting. He installed a bunch of Halo 4” canless LED recessed lights in our living room, kitchen and bathroom. These lights provide great lighting while remaining almost hidden. We got rid of our ceiling fans and had him install simple 15” lights.
Overall…Cameron did a great job. I would definitely recommend him.

Great service. Replaced several outlets outdoors. Along with performing under the estimate he also helped to prioritize our service because of concerns that the exposed outlets could be a hazard. Will definitely be using Knoles for any future issues.

Cameron was punctual, clean, and organized. After a Quick Look at what needed to be addressed he got to work and explained in detail what he was doing. He completed the work quickly and also checked out a few other issues and again explained what the best way was to fix them.

Knoles Electric is efficient, fast, and professional! I had an emergency situation with a ceiling fan that needed to be replaced at a non casual time, and they showed up the same day to provide fast and reliable service. Cameron also walked me through the issue I had and how he was exactly going to fix it, something a lot of electricians don't do these days. Cameron is a talented electrician and also very pleasant to work with. He's done several renovation projects for us, including lighting, outlets, panel work and security... and he's never failed to impress us. His installations are clean, he communicates his intentions and he has great suggestions. Our home is almost 80 years old and needed a lot of updating. We initially hired a different electrician but we had problem after problem. I was referred to Knoles Electric by a friend, so I contacted them and Cameron came out the very next day. He knew I was already frustrated and we were behind schedule, so he moved things around and put me on the schedule right away. Cameron re-wired the entire downstairs, installed some fans including this huge one, added around 25 lights to our home, and replaced all the outlets. He cares about the work he does, and we'll definitely use him again. Thank you!
